2023 Focus: Sowing Seeds for Heaven

Welcome Pastor Noreen Moise!

We are excited to announce and welcome Pastor Noreen Moise to the Maritime Conference! She will be serving the northern New Brunswick district, including the Bathurst Company, and will be a blessing with her ability to speak French and English fluently. We are grateful to God, who has brought this very talented pastor to serve our constituents.

Pastor Noreen Ramilee Moise was born in Haiti on May 8, 1999. Her family moved to Canada in 2004, and it is in Canada where she attended grade school through university. She was baptized at age 10 and preached her first sermon at 12. God called her to ministry in 2016, and 2017, she started her bachelor's degree in Theology at Burman University in Alberta, the only Seventh-day Adventist university in Canada. She is a 2021 Covid pandemic graduate.

After her undergraduate studies, she started her Master's in Social Work in August 2021 at Southern Adventist University in Tennessee (USA). She is in her second and final year at Southern and will receive her graduate degree in August 2023.

Pastor Noreen is now hired as a pastor at the Bathurst SDA church company in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada, where she will start pastoring full-time in August 2023. Pastor Noreen loves God dearly and looks forward to continuing using her unique gifts and talents for His Ministry. Her favorite verse is 2 Peter 3:9, which reads, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance."
